The black background color on the guide menu is difficult to see for us older folks with glasses. Previously it was white with black lettering which was easier to read. Is there a way to change the color of the background and text.

Dvr program
When I record a program and then watch it, the show ends about a minute or two before the end of the program. How can I fix the timing?
Recording
Why do I have to add 1 minute to all shows that I record in order to get the end of the show
Can't Get OWN Channel and Several Others (X1)
I have 2 televisions, 2 cable boxes, service that includes inaccessable channels and I can NOT get certain channels on either television. I'm not sure when I reported this problem initially, but I'm sure I have been waiting for more than 3 months to get it resolved.
Customer Service has replaced the cable wiring twice, updated cable boxes, INCREASED my monthly service charge and I still can't view these channels. Why can't I get this resolved?
X1 Box issue
I am unable to use the X1 to record radio station channels (for example, 88.5), the sound skips every minute or so on the X1. I tried to do this with another customer's X1 and the sound skipped there too.
This worked with properly with my old DVR.
Also, frequently a long-running television program (for example golf or tennis) resets to the beginning after it has been paused and it is necessary to fast forward 2 or 3 hours.
I am able to say "fast forward 120 minutes" and it forwards at the fast speed, but does not stop. Should it stop?
Is there a way to pass these concerns on to Xfinity?
Intermittent blue screen on Samsung Ultra HD TV
So we bought a new Samsung Ultra HD HDTV to go along with our Xfinity HD service. Connected everything and it worked fine. THen randomly, we started either a black or blue screen on the TV. Selected the correct input, swapped HDMI inputs, tried different HDMI cables, refresh signal to box and power cycled. None worked. Then without any particular reason it would come back, usually the next day after we turned everything off. Tech came out and swapped the box as he said ours was 5 years old. Cool. Worked fine for a couple days and then got the blue screen again. Nothing worked. On a hunch, I borught a LG TV from another room and connected it, and it worked. Took HDMI cable and plugged into the Samsung, blue screen. Called Samsung and they said its a known issue wit Xfinity boxes. Apparently the HDMI signal data transfer drops and the TV doesnt recongize it until you power cycle the TV.
Tech came out the next day. He was aware of the issue. Said its a HDMI issue specifically with the Xfinity boxes. Happened to have an older X1 box that still had the component outputs. Connected it to the SAmsung and it worked. So far we havent had any issues since swapping to component and the older box. Has anyone had similiar issues? Stinks that we have to use an older box with component cables on our new TV, as I worry about its lifespan. I would expect Xfinity to have a workaround or a fix. We should be able to use HDMI if we want to. THe tech said he had the same issue with another customer who had already had HDMI run behind the wall for a wall mounted TV and had to breaks the news that they had to replace with component. That is totally unacceptable.

***X1 DVR FEATURE REQUEST***
****FEATURE REQUEST****
Please allow users to extend a series recording longer than a half hour (specifically in regard to sporting events). I am able to extend recording a a single program up to 2 hours but if its a series recording I think either 5 or 30 minutes is the maximum time that it can be extended. You have no idea how frustrating it is (or maybe you do) to watch 3 hours of a sporting event and have the recording cut out in the most critical moments. The alternative is to micromanage every sports recording extending the time etc. I'm a software developer myself so I know nothing is really as simple as just changing or adding an option but, seems like you guys are adding features at a pretty good clip and the software for xfinity is waaayyy better than the competition so kudos on that. But please for the love of god, hook us sports fans up with some love. Auto extend is not given as an option for series recodings either, I'd prefer to just be able to give up to 3 hours of additional record time.
Thank you,
Nick
new boxes causing issues with main X1 box
So we just got 2 new boxes that are really tiny that has the thin blue light on the right hand side with 2 new voice remotes. I installed the 2 new boxes with no issues. The 2 new boxes are runnig fast with NO lag what so ever, when you press a button or switch channels its super fast. The reason im writing this is now my MAIN box that down stairs XG1-P Model # PX001ANM is now lagging like crazy, tons of input lag and takes forever to search or change channels. We had this issue with the 2 boxes that we just replaced which is now fixed. I did notice when installing the 2 new boxes the main box down stairs had me run a setup all over again and thats when i noticed all the lag which i never had before. Whats the issue???
Thanks again guys and hope to hear from you soon
X1
Set up x1 yesturday. Seemed to be working fine. Turned off using remote and went to bed. This morning when I turned it on had to go through the setup steps again. Will this happen every time it is turned off for extended period of time.
No Longer Receiving Prompt to Delete Show after Watching
I've noticed in the past few days that I am no longer receiving the message to "delete now" or "don't delete" after watching a recorded TV show. I've had the X1 dvr since June and up until this week it has always given me a message after the completion of a recording. Now it just goes back to "live" TV and no prompt to delete the recording. I have to go to my Saved Recordings to delete the program. Has something changed? Or did I accidentally turn this feature off somehow? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
How does one provide suggestions to X1 Labs?
It would sure be nice to be able to set on the X1 DVR to record a show each day and have it deleated the next day. This example would be for local and national news programs. By having it automatically deleted, this would prevent the DVR memory getting full when out of town.

X1 Arris AX013ANM Powers Off by Itself
Just replaced prior box with new Arris XG1-A. (AX013ANM). No complaints whatsoever- better that prior one; very responsive. Faster boot too. Only thing is:
I leave it playing Music Channel all day. At some point during the day, the box completely powers itself off. (Power button's Blue light is off- I mean that kind of off- not standby type of off.)
Any ideas?
